First Years.

1st Year Exam

1. What separates a healer from a mediwizard?

2. What steps do you take in order to properly bandage someone? (It doesn't have to be word for word, but a general overview of the steps)

3. What purpose does a bandage or cast serve in the wizarding world?

4. Describe what you would do if someone came into the hospital wing after the Peverell Cup. They just won their duel, but they are sporting a crooked, bloody nose and some of their fingers seem to be bent in odd directions. They also seem to have some pretty nasty scrapes on their body.

5. *Professor Jake sits back in his chair, watching the first years take their exam while eating a blueberry muffin. After taking a particularly large bite, he stops chewing and his eyes bulge. He drops the muffin and grabs his throat while making retching noises and bouncing back and forth in his chair.*

6. You and a buddy decide to take a ride on your new broomsticks over the winter break. But there are high winds and your friend falls off his broom! You land safely next to him and see that he is holding his arm and nearly in tears...it's broken, but you two are alone. What do you do until you can get him to a trained healer?

7. You've just seen some Of-Ages goofing around in Ottery during summer, not a care in the world. You spot Professor Jake trying to impress is fellow Of-Ages by Apparating around the area while being timed. Oh Jake.... While trying to look cool, he Apparates too quickly and leaves behind a piece of his arm.! There's blood, but his body is reasonably intact. There's a nasty wound there that doesn't look too bad, a simple solution....But then you notice that he collapsed onto the ground as well. Why? Looking down, you see that his left foot looks a bit rubbery.... What do you do?
